4-Antibody provides access to its powerful antibody discovery engine to select pharmaceutical collaborators. The first such R&D collaborative partnership was formed with Boehringer Ingelheim in early 2010. The Company is currently working to establish a small number of similar partnerships with established corporate groups over the next 1-2 years. The proprietary in-vitro Retrocyte Display® technology generates high quality fully-human antibody leads within approximately 3-4 months, which is extremely fast by industry standards. Led by a world class management team with years of experience generating commercially relevant deals and leading R&D collaborations with corporate pharma, 4-Antibody is well placed to understand the needs of partners and work with them together as a cohesive, productive, and successful team..
In parallel with the formation of such high value partnerships with corporate pharmaceutical groups, 4-Antibody is also seeking R&D collaborations with exceptional academic clinical research groups with world class scientific and clinical immunological expertise to allow us to develop high value therapeutic antibody development programs. A product emerging from such an R&D collaboration with academia is our anti-CMV therapeutic antibody which was generated in a collaboration with expert immunologists and virologists from the University of Erlangen, Germany.
