4-Antibody’s first R&D collaboration with a corporate pharmaceutical group is a multi-target, multi-year partnership with Boehringer Ingelheim.  In this collaboration, 4-Antibody is utilizing its proprietary antibody discovery technologies for the development of fully human antibodies against targets nominated by Boehringer Ingelheim. Although the targets involved in the collaboration have not been disclosed, Boehringer Ingelheim’s disease focus has historically included the broad areas of oncology, viral disease, cardiovascular and pulmonary disease.

As part of the collaboration, and in addition to the discovery of novel candidate human antibodies, 4-Antibody is also able to contribute expertise in antigen production, assay design and set-up, antibody optimization, initial antibody production, and analyses of antibody-antigen interactions.
