The 4-Antibody core technology platform provides an integrated solution for discovering ‘better-behaved,’ fully human, development-ready lead antibodies.
Antibody discovery is accomplished with our proprietary in vitro Retrocyte Display® technology. Human antibody libraries expressed as full-length IgG in immortalized pre-B cells are screened against antigen targets using a combination of high throughput, multi-parameter magnetic and fluorescence-based cell sorting for antigen-reactive clones. Novel antibody candidates for soluble as well as membrane-bound antigens can be identified. Antibody candidates can then be subjected to in vitro optimization if necessary to improve performance characteristics.
Our mammalian B-cell expression approach combines the speed and diversity of an in vitro discovery platform with the selectivity of an in vivo system yielding high affinity, ‘better-behaved’, fully human antibodies.
